Information on the conversion of the student ID number

On 12 May 2017, the University of Vienna extends the student ID number of all students to eight digits by prefixing a zero. From winter semester 2017 first-time admissions’ student ID numbers will receive a “1” as their first digit.

This conversion has to be completed by 1 June 2017 in the entire Austrian data network of the universities and university colleges of teacher education.
