There is a great need for translated texts at a university. DeepL Pro translates and improves texts using AI functions that have been trained with millions of examples. This enables the service to deliver particularly natural, contextually accurate formulations. In addition to classic translation, DeepL Pro offers the translation of entire documents, the ability to set up and share glossaries for consistent terminology, and DeepL Write, a tool that smooths and corrects texts stylistically.
Ordering DeepL Pro
As an employee, you can purchase a DeepL Pro subscription via the self-service portal (via Uni data network/VPN). You can find a user guide for ordering and further information at Ordering a DeepL account for employees.
Webinars in the summer semester
The 1-hour webinars for DeepL Pro provide support in getting started and teach users the most important functions:
The DeepL user training introduces basic functions such as web translator, glossary, DeepL Write and document translation. Tips and best practices round off the introduction to DeepL Pro.

The DeepL Deepening builds on knowledge gained in the user tutorial. Topics covered include the web translator with its Clarify and Custom Rules functions and setting up and using glossaries.

The DeepL Interactive Glossary Workshop focuses entirely on working with glossaries – from creation and application to maintenance and shared use. Employees can exchange experiences with each other in breakout sessions.
