Use u:ai free of charge with credit
You have 20.00 euros credit available in u:ai every month. A short text prompt costs 0.01 euros, while a large upload or a generated image can quickly use up 0.20 euros.
Once your credit has been used up, you will not be able to use u:ai again until the following month. Therefore, please use your credit sparingly. You may need it later for assignments or homework in a course.
How can you use u:ai in your studies?
The rules of good scientific practice and the lecturer determine whether and how you may use AI in a course. You can find more information on this in u:find, in the Moodle course or directly from the lecturer.
If it is permitted in a course, the chatbot can assist you with texts and calculations. Or you can use u:ai as a learning aid. Document analysis helps you check or summarise texts. Please note, however, that AI summaries do not replace your own examination of the content. They may omit essential aspects or distort statements from the original.
If you need an abstract in English, the translator can help you. Want to take your presentations to the next level? The image generator creates suitable graphics for you.
“AI can help and inspire students in their degree programme, but it must not replace the students’ own work. It is also important to remain critical of the AI’s answers, to check their sources when they are provided, and to consult additional sources yourself,” explains Laura Gandlgruber, expert in AI in studies and teaching at the university.
