The ZID is looking for trainers for IT courses

The Licensing & Training team at the Zentraler Informatikdienst of the University of Vienna is looking for trainers for the following IT courses, to start immediately:

  • Courses on system administration under Windows 11

  • Courses for users of Windows 11

  • Courses on the Office 365 apps Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Courses on Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator

Note

Trainers must teach Windows 11 using the version provided by the ZID, Windows 11 Enterprise.

Courses on system administration in Windows 11

Trainers should cover the following content in the courses, including how to use the graphical user interface, command line and PowerShell:

  • Introduction: New features, hardware requirements
  • Administration
  • File system and sharing
  • Local user management
  • Local group policies
  • Corporate environment

Courses for Windows 11 users

Trainers should cover the following content in the courses:

  • Introduction
  • Getting started
  • Personalisation
  • File management
  • Apps and programs
  • Internet and networks
  • Security

Courses on the Office 365 apps Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Trainers should cover the following content in the courses:

  • Introduction/Getting started
  • Work interface
  • Creating and editing documents
  • Formatting and design options
  • App-specific functions
  • Optional courses for advanced users

Courses on Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator

Trainers should cover the following content in the courses:

  • Introduction/getting started
  • User interface
  • Basic app-specific functions
  • Optional courses for advanced users

Qualifications

The following qualifications are requirements:

  • Above-average knowledge of the software to be taught or the content to be conveyed
  • Independent preparation of course examples
  • Fluent German and English skills
  • Training experience
  • Independent and meticulous way of working
  • Sense of responsibility
  • Commitment
