Ordering software via AcadCloud
Requirements
- A browser (such as Firefox, Chrome, Edge) installed on your device.
- An active u:account for students.
- Access AcadCloud
- Log in – enter UserID and password
- Select the desired software via Products
- Add to basket – Order
- Optional: payment process
Ordering software
- Go to the AcadCloud portal.
- Click on Log in in the right top.Read the privacy policy and click on Continue.
- Log in with your u:account for students.
- Go to the Productsmenu item or use the Product search to view the available products.
- Select the desired product and click on the button Add to basket.
- Click on the shopping cart icon and check your order. If you have permission to purchase the product, the Order button will be available.
- Click on Orderand follow the order process. You must accept the licence terms in the Licence Agreements area in order to proceed with the order.
- Enter a billing address.
- When ordering paid products, select the desired payment method and submit the corresponding declarations of consent.
- You will receive a summary of your order. Be sure to check this before completing your order.
- In the Consent area, accept the General Terms and Conditions and the provisions on the right of withdrawal.
- Click on the Purchase € ... button to complete the order.
Payment for fee-based products
- You will be redirected to the payment service provider.
- Enter the required credit card details or the details for the eps transfer.
- Your payment will be verified. If it is valid, you will be redirected to the AcadCloud order portal.
- Once payment has been made and the order has been approved, SoftwareONE will send you an order confirmation by e-mail, along with the invoice (if applicable), the product key and a download link for the software.
Note
Ensure that any pop-up blockers are disabled and that your firewall settings do not prevent windows from the payment service provider from opening.
Wait until the payment is complete. Do not close the window of the payment service provider during the payment process and do notswitch to another website.
Downloading software
- Go to AcadCloud.
- Click on Log inin the right top-hand corner and log in with your valid u:account for students.
- Click on your name in the right top-hand corner and select Orders from the list.
- You will see an overview of your orders.
- Select the desired order and click on the Details button to the right of it. In the order overview, you will find all the details of your order, the product key, and the Download software button.
Note
Download links are only available for a limited time. Therefore, download the software as soon as possible, but no later than the date specified under Expires.
If you do not download the software in time, you will have to purchase the product again.
You can save large download files to a USB flash drive in the computer rooms of the ZID.

Installation guides can be found in AcadCloud directly in the download package for the respective product or under user guides.
