On Friday, 14.04.2023, the display names in the Exchange infrastructure of the University of Vienna will be standardised during the course of the day and in future will only be displayed in the format firstname lastname (example: Jamie Doe). This format will also be applied to Microsoft 365 and Teams.
- For personal e-mail addresses, the information stored in the u:account will be synchronised.
- For service e-mail addresses, the stored display names can be changed by the respective IT representative or supporter via the form Managing u:account under Manage u:account – Description.
