15 years of u:book – high-quality laptops at low prices for members of the University of Vienna

With the u:book initiative, the University of Vienna offers support to all members of Austrian educational institutions for the purchase of laptops, tablets and other technical accessories for studying, teaching and research. The current sales period is open from 25 September to 23 October 2023 in the u:book shop.

The unique service of the University of Vienna is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year with special equipment, competitions and an Austria-wide information tour. Since its foundation in 2008, the u:book team at the University of Vienna has always paid attention to high quality and warranty when selecting the devices and offers comprehensive support. Members of Austrian educational institutions can purchase the high-quality devices at favourable prices. Special attention is also paid to sustainability in the product portfolio: u:book now labels devices that have the internationally recognised sustainability certificate (EPEAT Standard Gold) with a green sustainability label.

The u:book sales window is open twice a year for 4 weeks. The models on offer are newly selected and configured from sale window to sale window. The top priority is that the devices meet the high demands of research, teaching and studying. Quality and warranty, taking into account a reasonable price, are at the forefront.

The current product portfolio includes devices from Lenovo, HP, Apple, Dell, Acer, Fujitsu and Asus.
