As of now, employees of the University of Vienna can obtain Microsoft 365 including the video conferencing and collaboration platform Teams via the self-service portal.
Microsoft 365 is a software subscription for local installation (desktop apps) as well as for mobile (mobile apps) and online use (web apps). It includes the following apps, among others:
- Teams
- Office apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- OneDrive including 1 TB storage space

Users of the Teams test environment
Access to the Teams test environment is possible for 6 months parallel to Microsoft 365. During this transition period, users of the Teams test environment can back up certain data.
Users will be informed in good time by e-mail before the final deactivation of the test environment.
