Installing smartphone or tablet app

This user guide will help you install or uninstall an app on your iOS or iPadOS device or Android device.

iOS, iPadOS


Installing app

  1. Swipe down on the Home screen to display the search bar.
  2. Enter App Store in the search bar.
  3. Tap the corresponding search result to open the App Store.
  4. Enter the name of the desired app in the search bar in the App Store and tap Search.
  5. Use the app icon and the exact name to make sure you select the correct app in the search results.
  6. Tap Get.
  7. Confirm the installation with Face ID or Touch ID or with your Apple account if prompted.
  8. Once the app has been installed, you can launch it using the Open button.


Uninstalling app

  1. Swipe down on the home screen to display the search bar.
  2. Enter the name of the app you want to delete in the search bar.
  3. Press and hold the icon of the app you want to delete in the search results until a pop-up window appears.
  4. Select Delete App.
  5. Confirm with Delete.

Installing app

  1. Search for the Play Store on your device and open it.
  2. Enter the name of the desired app in the search bar and start the search.
  3. Use the app icon and the exact name to make sure you select the correct app in the search results.
  4. Tap Install.
  5. Once the app has been installed, you can launch it by tapping the Open button.


Uninstalling app

  1. Open Settings and then select Apps.
  2. Search for the app you want to delete and tap the corresponding app icon.
  3. Tap Uninstall.
  4. Confirm with OK.
