Installing ESRI ArcGIS software

This user guide will help you installing software via the ESRI portal of the University of Vienna. 

Read the Terms of Use ESRI software (in German).

Self-managed PCs

Check the system requirements before installation.

1. Log in to the ESRI portal of the University of Vienna with your e-mail address in the format UserID@univie.ac.at and your self-chosen password
2. Click on your name in the top right-hand corner and select My settings.
3. Select Licences in the left-hand column.
4. Go to the ArcGIS Pro entry and click on Download ArcGIS Pro.
5. Download the required software and install it on your device.
6. Start the software and log in with your ESRI ArcGIS account.

Centrally managed PCs

Centrally managed PCs are updated automatically.

Mac
