Mathematica
This user guide helps you to license Mathematica.
Note
- The software is not free. You can order it from AcadCloud.
- If you have downloaded the software in a ZIP archive, unpack the files to your hard disk before the installation. To do so, copy the files in the ZIP archive to a folder on your hard disk or right-click the ZIP file and select Extract All ...
- The license expires on the next 31 October after it was activated. Afterwards, you have to obtain a new license.
- Open the Wolfram website. Create an account if you do not already have one.
- Enter your first name, last name and your u:account e-mail address. Do not change the selection Mathematica for Students for Sites (Single machine) under Product. Click Submit.
- You will receive an e-mail from Wolfram with a key that is valid for two weeks. As soon as the ZID has verified the activation of your licence, the key will be automatically renewed until the next 31 October.
- Open the link in this e-mail. You will be forwarded to the Product Summary within the Wolfram user portal. At Downloads you can download the appropriate software based on your operating system.
- Install Mathematica.
- When accessing the program the first time, the Product Activation window appears. Enter the key that you received by e-mail. Make sure you have an active Internet connection when you activate the product.
