Setting up call forwarding

This user guide helps you to set up call forwarding via the OpenSpace Web Client. This forwards incoming calls to another person, for example if you are absent, if your number is busy or if you do not answer the call for other reasons.

 Note

Call forwarding is used to forward incoming calls to another person. It is visible to the caller that the call has been diverted to another number.

If you want to be reachable under your extension on different devices, set up the One-Number service. The caller will only see your u:phone extension.

Click the arrow icon in the menu bar.

Then select Forwarding and rules settings. Then click Enable call forwarding.

Conditional forwarding

When you activate Conditional forwarding, you can define what happens to calls if your phone is busy or if you do not answer.

For this, enter the desired number (in this case it is the voicemail of the University of Vienna) to which the call should be forwarded. Confirm your entry by clicking the plus icon.

Forward all calls

When you activate Forward all of my incoming calls, all calls are forwarded to this number.

For this, enter the desired number (in this case it is the voicemail of the University of Vienna) to which the call should be forwarded. Confirm your entry by clicking the plus icon.

If you would like to deactivate the forwarding of calls, select Do not forward any of my calls.
