Ordering an ESRI ArcGIS account for employees

This user guide will help you to obtain an ESRI ArcGIS account for the University of Vienna via the self-service portal.

1. Uninstall all ESRI ArcGIS products from your device.
2. Access the self-service portal (outside the university data network via VPN). Log in with u:account in the format u\UserID and password.
3. Return ESRI ArcGIS.
4. Click on Catalogue in the menu on the left and then on User accounts.
5. Select ESRI ArcGIS account and order the product.
6. Once the order has been approved, an ESRI ArcGIS account will be created for you in the ESRI portal of the University of Vienna. First name, surname and e-mail address are used for this.
7. You will receive an e-mail with a link to finalise the creation of your account and assign a password of your choice.
