Project on studio recordings of lectures
The project “Studioaufzeichnungen von Vorlesungen” (studio recordings of lectures) aimed at exploring the possibility of using attractive audio-visual presentation formats for university purposes. Under the direction of the Streaming Services unit, the ZID developed a series of prototypes.
These prototypes demonstrate how to support innovative didactic concepts in university teaching using videos, and how to audio visually present academic content to an interested audience. In addition, the project helped gather valuable experiences regarding the organisation and complexity of such productions at the University of Vienna.
The prototypes were developed in a cooperation between the Postgraduate Center of the University of Vienna, the Collection of Women’s Personal Writings at the Department of History at the University of Vienna and the Faculty of Protestant Theology at the University of Vienna.
