You can request service e-mail addresses for the following purposes:
- Conferences, congresses or similar events

Request
Only IT representatives can request a service e-mail address. This requires these steps:
- First, create a service u:account. The u:account must meet the following criteria:
- supported by the organisational unit
- limited validity
- extended rights
- Make a note of the UserID of the new service u:account. You can find it via the form Managing u:account at the accounts that are being supported by your organisational unit.
- Then use the form Service-E-Mail-Adresse beantragen (Requesting a service e-mail address, in German). Please note the naming conventions.
Validity
The service e-mail address is available as long as the associated service u:account is valid. All IT representatives of the supporting organisational unit will receive a notification by e-mail in good time before the service u:account expires, reminding them to renew it.
