Embedding a podcast into news

This user guide will help you integrate a podcast into news.

  1. Select the This article includes a PODCAST checkbox.
  2. Origin of the audio podcast file: Since the uploads in TYPO3 are limited in size, you may have to include the audio file from outside. Therefore, select either a Local file on this TYPO3, which would be an upload on the system, or External url, in which case you specify the full URL.
    Note that the remote server must deliver in https, otherwise the integration will not work.
  3. Podcast Chapters: Here you specify the chapters including the end time of each chapter (you can get this in a podcast builder). Use the format title|hh:mm:ss.mil.
