Copying on a u:print device

This user guide will help you copy documents on a u:print device.

Requirement

A validated u:card with credit loaded on it. After validation, it can take up to 5 hours for the card to be activated for payment at the u:print devices.

  1. Log in to the u:print device – Copy
  2. Place the original on the platen glass or use the automatic document feeder – (Optional: Adjust copy settings) – Start

Detailed user guide

1. Selecting the copy function

  1. Log in to a u:print device. If necessary, refer to the user guide.
  2. Tap the Copy button on the touchscreen.

2. Copying

  1. Place the desired original on the platen glass or use the automatic document feeder. Please note that you can only place flawless originals in the automatic document feeder. These originals must not be
    • stapled,
    • rolled,
    • wrinkled or
    • bound with paper clips.
  2. Adjust the copy settings if necessary.
  3. Tap the Start button at the bottom right to start the copying process.
  4. Remove your copies.

Adjusting copy settings

By default, u:print devices will print your documents in A4, black and white and one-sided.

You can adjust the copy settings by tapping the corresponding buttons, for example:

  • Select Color: Select colour or black-and-white
  • Copy Ratio: Adjust the size of the copy (increase or reduce)
  • Select Paper: Select the paper size (A4 or A3)
  • Change the number of copies
  • 2-Sided: Activate two-sided copying
