TYPO3 at the University of Vienna
TYPO3 for websites at the University of Vienna is organised based on a cooperation between:
- Zentraler Informatikdienst (ZID): operation, administration, support, technical development of the system
- Service unit Corporate Communications: layout, corporate design, templates
The system is available for the websites of service units, faculties, institutes, projects, and conferences. Currently, around 1,400 websites are managed.
All websites use a uniform template based on the University of Vienna’s corporate design. It consists of:
- Header: not freely editable, contains university logo, menu Information for, quicklinks, search, horizontal menu, name of the organisational unit, breadcrumbs
For websites for supra-university projects and conferences, separate logos and colours can be used to reflect the diversity of responsibilities. - Content: freely editable
- Footer: contact information and social media presence of the organisational unit, project or conference, additional links (freely editable), quicklinks (not freely editable)
For more information, refer to the TYPO3 Guide.
