Printing on a u:print device

- Colour settings
- Paper format
- Number of pages
- Copies
2. Printing
Tap one or more print jobs to select or deselect them. You then have the following options by tapping the corresponding buttons:
- Print + Keep: Print and keep your print job. After printing, your print job will be moved to the Printed Jobs tab and stored for 2 hours. After that, it will be automatically deleted
- Delete: Delete the print job without printing it
- Select All or Unselect All: Select or deselect all print jobs
- Print + Delete: Print the print job and then delete it
- Options: Select print settings
- Refresh: Refresh the display
Selecting print settings
When printing from the PCs in the computer rooms, the default settings are A4, black and white, and one-sided.
Tap the Options button to change the print settings:
- Duplex: Select two-sided (duplex) or one-sided (simplex) printing
- Color Mode: If colour printing was originally selected for the print job, you can use this setting to print it in black and white. Conversely, it is not technically possible to subsequently print a black-and-white print job in colour.
Please note that you will be charged per print job, and not per sheet. The actual printing costs are charged, for example for two-sided printing. - Stapling and Hole Punch: De-/activate the stapling or hole punching function, provided the device has the necessary hardware. This function is not available on u:print devices for students.
- Copy Count: Change the number of copies.
Then print your document with the desired settings.
