u:print payment system: Managing credit

This user guide will help you manage the credit balance on your u:card online using the u:print payment system.

To the u:print payment system

Requirements

  • A validated u:card. After validation, it can take up to 5 hours for the card to be activated for topping up credit and for payment at the u:print devices. Further information on the u:card can be found on the u:card website.
  • A credit card or access to online banking with an Austrian bank.

1. Logging in to the u:print payment system

  1. Open the u:print payment system in your browser.
  2. Log in to the Weblogin of the University of Vienna with the UserID of your u:account (example: doejamie99) and the corresponding password.

2. Topping up your credit

  1. Click on the Guthaben (credit) entry in the menu on the left to view information about your credit or carry out transactions.
  2. Click on the Jetzt Aufladen (top up now) button to add credit to your u:card.
  1. Enter the desired amount. You can top up a maximum of 25 euros.
  2. Select your desired payment method from the drop-down menu. You can top up your credit using Visa, Mastercard, Giropay or eps transfer.
  3. Click on the Aufladen (top up) button.

3. View receipts

Note

You can view receipts retroactively for up to 1 month.

  1. If you require a receipt, click on the Transaktionen (transactions) entry in the menu on the left.
  2. Click on the download symbol to the left of a transaction to view or download the relevant document.
