Fraudulent e-mails are currently circulating with the subject line “Action Needed: Outgoing/Incoming emails blocked” or “Final Notice: Outgoing&Incoming Emails Limit Exceeded” and a sender address from the University of Vienna. These e-mails are an attempt to steal users’ personal data (phishing).
Under no circumstances should you follow the links provided in the message; instead, clear the e-mail immediately. Only enter your u:account password on web pages whose URL begins with https:// and ends with .univie.ac.at before the first slash.
