Not deactivating OpenScape Web Client

Some browsers deactivate unused tabs after a certain time. You can then no longer be reached via the OpenScape Web Client. Make the following settings to prevent this.

Chrome

  1. Click on the 3 dots at the top right.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Under Settings on the left, select Performance.
  4. In the Memory section, click on Add next to Always keep these sites active.
  5. In the following pop-up, select the Add sites manually tab.
  6. Enter the URL https://uphone.univie.ac.at.
  7. Click on Add.

Edge

  1. Click on the 3 dots at the top right.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Under Settings on the left, select System and performance.
  4. In the Optimise performance section, click on Add next to Never put these sites to sleep.
  5. Enter the URL https://uphone.univie.ac.at in the following pop-up.
  6. Click on Add.
