Adobe Creative Cloud Pro Plus for HED Student

This user guide helps students to install and manage Adobe apps locally via Adobe Creative Cloud.

Notes

  • The software is not free. Please order it via AcadCloud.
  • The licence is valid for 1 year from the date the order is completed in AcadCloud; after that, you will need to purchase a new licence. You can check how long your licence is still valid for in AcadCloud under My Software in your account.
  • You can install an Adobe program on multiple devices, but you can only activate it on 2 devices at the same time; this means you remain logged in on a maximum of 2 devices. You can only use the program on 1 device at a time.
  • You can continue to access data stored in Adobe Creative Cloud for a further 30 days after your licence expires. Please back up any data you still need to another location in good time.

Ordering Adobe Creative Cloud

Order the software product Adobe Creative Cloud Pro Plus for HED Student from AcadCloud. If necessary, use the user guide for Ordering software via AcadCloud.

Logging in to Adobe Creative Cloud

Sign in to the Adobe Home website.

Note

If you have already created an Adobe account using your e-mail address of the University of Vienna, you can use this to log in.

If you do not have an Adobe account yet, follow the Adobe guide Create an Adobe account using an email address. To create the account, use your e-mail address of the University of Vienna in the form aStudentIDnumber@unet.univie.ac.at – example: a12345678@unet.univie.ac.at.

  1. In the Log in window, enter your e-mail address of the University of Vienna in the form aStudentIDnumber@unet.univie.ac.at (example: a12345678@unet.univie.ac.at).
  2. Click Continue.

In the next window enter the password of your Adobe account.

You may be prompted to enter additional information such as mobile phone number or another e-mail address. You can skip these prompts by selecting Not now. This data can be entered later via your Adobe account under Edit profile.

In the next window choose the option Universitat Wien.

Installing apps

Once you've successfully signed in, you'll see an overview of all the Adobe products available to you under your license under Apps. You decide which Adobe apps to install on your device.

Updating apps

Any app you install on your device via Adobe Creative Cloud can be updated automatically or manually.

Uninstalling apps

Use the Adobe guide Uninstall Creative Cloud apps.

Once the uninstallation is complete, the app will appear under Available in your plan and can be reinstalled.
