Registering and logging in to Zoom

1. You will be automatically redirected to the Weblogin of the University of Vienna. Log in with the UserID of your u:account (example: doejamie99) and the corresponding password.
2. You will be automatically redirected to Zoom. In the User regulations window, click the Agree button to confirm that you have read and accept the user regulations.

Your Zoom account with the University of Vienna campus license will be created.

You have already registered a Zoom account at the Zoom page of the University of Vienna using your u:account login details.

After registering once at the Zoom page of the University of Vienna, you can create meetings directly in Moodle. Use the user guide Conducting Zoom meetings in Moodle.

A meeting created in Moodle is available to everyone enrolled in a course. The invitation link can be sent to additional people.

1. Open the Zoom page of the University of Vienna.
2. Click on the Login button in the top right-hand corner.
3. You will be automatically redirected to the Weblogin of the University of Vienna. Log in with the UserID of your u:account (example: doejamie99) and the corresponding password.
4. You will be redirected to the Zoom web portal. You can configure general settings or schedule a meeting.

With the Zoom Workplace app, you can use Zoom locally on your device:

• Desktop
• Smartphone

1. Go to the Zoom page of the University of Vienna and click on the Download Zoom software button.
2. You will be redirected to the Download Center. The website will recognise which device you are using. Select the software version that is suitable for your device and click on Download. Open the downloaded file by clicking on it.
3. A new window will open. Click on Sign In.
4. Click on the key icon (SSO) below the e-mail input fieldto log in.
5. Enter the company domain univienna if it is not already filled in. Click on the Continue button.
6. You will be automatically redirected to the Weblogin of the University of Vienna. Log in with the UserID of your u:account (example: doejamie99) and the corresponding password.
7. A browser window will open. Click on the Open button in the dialog box.
8. You are now logged in to the Zoom Workplace app with the University of Vienna's Zoom license (campus license).
9. The Zoom Workplace app will open. You can, for example, schedule a meeting.

1. Go to the Zoom page of the University of Vienna and click on the Download Zoom software button, or visit the official Zoom website on your smartphone.
2. The website will recognise which device you use and redirect you to a download page (usually the App Store or Google Play Store). Download the app, install it, and launch it.
3. Tap Log In and then Continue with SSO.
4. Enter the company domain univienna if it is not already filled in. Click the Continue button.
5. You will be automatically redirected to the Weblogin of the University of Vienna. Log in with the UserID of your u:account (example: doejamie99) and the corresponding password.
6. You are now logged in to the Zoom Workplace app with the University of Vienna's Zoom license (campus license).
7. The Zoom Workplace app will open. You can, for example, schedule a meeting.
